FAQs

Q: Do you travel on-site for bookings?

A: Yes! I primarily work in the Cleveland/Akron area of Ohio, but am willing to travel out of state upon request.

Q: Do you charge extra for long-distance travel?

A: I will travel 90 miles round trip for free, but any additional miles I travel I charge $1 per mile. If I am required to stay over night in a hotel in order to work an event, the cost of my accommodations is added to the client’s total.

Q: What is a bridal trial?

A: A bridal trial is a session with the bride-to-be scheduled about a month before the big day. At this session, we’ll trial your full face of makeup so we can make adjustments if needed and make sure you’re 100% satisfied with your wedding day look.

Q: Are bridal trials mandatory?

Bridal trials are mandatory for all of my brides. I have found that this session is crucial in order to ensure that the wedding day application final product is exactly what the bride is envisioning, while ensuring that the process is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Q: What are your signature makeup application styles?

A: I specialize in soft glam and elevated natural makeup looks.

Q: How should I prepare for my makeup application?

A: Please come to a makeup application session with no makeup on, but feel free to apply any skincare products that you would normally wear under makeup.

Q: In what ways might your bridal services be different from those of other artists?

A: I always create an application schedule for the bridal party in order to keep everyone organized and on time. The price of bridal trials is included in the overall bridal price-there is no additional charge. I also provide bridal touch-up kits for each member of the bridal party. These include a small amount of the lip product used on the client, as well as touch-up powder, q-tips, safety pins, bobby pins, makeup remover, and more.

Q: What happens if you get sick and are unable to complete my makeup application as scheduled?

A: In the event of an illness or emergency, I will find a replacement artist for your event whose makeup application quality and style are similar to my own.

Q: Do you offer false lashes?

A: Yes! False lashes are offered with every makeup application I complete.

Q: What kinds of products do you use?

A: I use all kinds of products, from high-end (Anastasia Beverly Hills, Artist Couture, Dominique Cosmetics, etc.) to drugstore (L'Oréal, Maybelline, etc.) and everything in between. I use products I know are long-lasting and effective, whatever the price point.

Q: Do you have experience applying makeup for all skin tones, textures, and ages?

A: Yes! I am experienced in and equipped for providing makeup services for people of all skin tones, textures, ages, and sensitives.

Q: Can you accommodate large parties?

A: I can accommodate large parties to as much of an extent as the client is willing to budget time for me to complete everyone’s makeup, as I am currently a one-woman show. As a general rule, I’d say 8-10 people is my maximum.

Q: Do I have to pay up-front in order to book my event?

A: I ask that bridal clients pay a $50 deposit in order to make their booking complete. This deposit is non-refundable. The rest of the total is due by cash, check, or venmo on the day of. No tax is added to the quoted final price.
